Problem with a 64gb USB Verbatim flash stick
This evening I wanted to transfer a 11gb video from an external hard drive to a 64gb USB flash stick (sometimes called a thumb drive or pen drive), but I noticed there seemed to be an 'extra drive' showing on 'This PC'....drive (H).
I think (but am not sure) this is a result of my previous failed attempt(s) to create a bootable Windows USB drive.
I'm guessing at that because of the name drive (G) seems to have acquired. (WinToUSB)....a program I have on my PC.
The solution is probably very similar to a problem I had a couple of weeks ago with a Toshiba external drive....a problem I was able to resolve with the help of some quite clever guys here on Ten Forums.
(you know who you are).
I'm over 70 so I don't always absorb (or remember) information I've been given in the past, so I'm asking for help once again. I've attached a screenshot to show the problem.
Just goes to show certain programs in the wrong hands (like mine) can cause havoc.
