Prevent Windows of warning about a disk with problem?

There is a way of preventing Windows of keep warning me "There is a problem with this drive..."? I will NOT scan and fix it because the last time I did this Windows wiped my disk (I don't rely on Windows for such task anymore). This is not the end of the world but this is a bit annoying.

What kind of problem: Logical or hardware?
    If logical run check disk
Open a CMD window as administrator and type:
    chkdsk c: /f
It will say your disk is in use and ask if you want to schedule to next start = yes
    Restart

If you suspect it is a hardware problem, Download extract and run CrystalDiskInfo. It's a portable. Doesn't need to install.

Sure. I am not going to do this. I think it's a logical error. But I don't rely on Windows checkdisk. It wiped one of my disks so since then I don't use it anymore unless the contents of the disk is not important. I just wanted to stop it to keep me bugging with this message.

If you don't run check disk you may loose everything. By the way, don't you have a backup?

I don't. This is just cool stuff I have but nothing crucial (TV series and movies). Anyway it started to annoy me with those messages a couple years ago so I don't think it's something that will make me lose stuff out of a sudden. I just got tired of seeing the warning message and I thought that could have exist some kind of quick registry hack to suppress this. If there is nothing that can be done about this I will just live with it. Not a big deal anyway.

    Thanks buddy!

Sounds like the fateful day will come soon when the drive goes to the bit bucket, in the sky above, is imminent.

Do yourself a favour and buy a new drive if possible.

Try to get a spare drive to eliminate a drive or motherboard issue.

On vary rare occasions (like allocation table problems) you shouldn't use check disk.
I have used and recommended check disk many, many times and never had any issues. and I'm recommending it to you.

    It's up to you.
