Any one else having problems with system freezes while playing video

I'm pretty sure the problem originates from the Windows 10 driver for Intel HD Graphics. In short while playing video the system will occasionally hiccup and freeze for a minute or two and resume like nothing ever happened. The mouse works but keyboard, mouse clicks, touchscreen everything else including CTL ALT DEL are unresponsive. Never had this problem in 7 or windows 8, no errors recorded in the system log. Majority of the time it occurs when playing video through VLC and through Chrome or Edge, sometimes but rarely it will freeze while in Visual Studio. I think it is a graphics driver problem mainly because Visual Studio would freeze a lot until I turned off graphics hardware acceleration. Any solutions or similar problems?

Update the chipset and Graphics drivers directly from Intel's site. Avoid outdated drivers from manufacturer's site.

Thanks I did both. for some reason Windows Update would not update the graphics driver. Come to find out the problem was much more than just the graphics driver. The chipset needed to be rolled back to generic version as it kept issuing device reset on Raid0, which I do not have any raid drives.Updated the graphics driver Roll-backed the chipset driver and now I'm not experiencing any hangs or performance decreases
