Audio issue
I have been wracking my brain around this for almost a month now and am near my breaking point and would appreciate ANYONE willing to lend me some assistance on this issue. Basically ever since I upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 everything works great aside from one annoying problem that I cant seem to solve. I use USB headphones and I get occasional popping and crackling sounds from all sources of sound. It starts off pretty bad after turning my PC on for the first time during the day and gradually gets less and less noticeable (but still present). These pops and cracks usually occur within 1-5 minute intervals of each other and are present in anything that produces sound on my computer (no pops and cracks if computers not playing any sound).
I have tried many things including:
-Updated drivers (Realtek HD Audio)(AMD GPU drivers)(Realtek Network Card)
-Reverted to default windows updated drivers
- I do not have a Wi Fi card so that common problem is eradicated
- Downloaded LatencyMon and over the span of an hour; sat on average of 150 latency capped at 700 for few seconds(not during any popping or crackling) so it doesn't seem to be a latency issue
-Disabled sound enhancements from playback devices
-Its not the headphones themselves as they work fine on other sources
-I tried an old set of ear buds that weren't USB and they seemed to work fine so it may just be USB audio.
-Cried and slammed my head on my desk repeatedly
I really don't know what more I could do at this point. I'm pretty sure its either a driver or software issue as my computer was fine before installing windows 10. (Also worth noting that I fresh installed into windows 10)
