PC turns on, No signal, keyboard/mouse.

So I was in my bios and I changed my CPU mode offset sign from + to -, I saved the settings and exited. When the PC restarted it came on perfectly fine but I am getting no signal on my monitor and my razer keyboard & mouse aren't coming on or lighting up.

My motherboard is a P8Z77-V LX
My CPU is a Intel Core i5 3470 3.20Ghz.
My RAM is G.Skill RipJawz 1866mhz 4 X 4
My GPU: Asus GeForce 660ti DirectCU II OC Edition.

I googled around and it said to take the battery out for 10 seconds and put it back in, I did that and no change, I also took the jumper from 1-2 and put it on 2-3 for 10 seconds then back again, Again no change.

Ive reseated the RAM/GPU and CPU and nothing seems to be working.

The pc turns on fine but nothing seems to be working.

Even my Corsair H80i pump LED changed from white to pink which is the colour I set it. All fans are working too.

If anyone is wondering why I changed my cpu offset mode, Before this issue I just had a bluescreen for WHEA_Uncorrectable_Error, I turned my PC back on and I googled around and it said it was something to do with my CPU voltage, and one person suggested to try and change it from + or auto to -, So I restarted my PC and changed the cpu offset mode from + to -, after that it doesnt seem to be working and im not quite sure why.

Does anyone have any idea what I can do to try and solve this issue or should I just order a new motherboard?

Have you tried loading Optimized Default in your bios?
Also, have you tried lowering your overclock and CPU PLL?



Keep in mind, changing offset from positive to negative can make a substantial difference, depending on your specified offset.
Can you post the numbers for your offset, CPU PLL, CPU PTT,VCCSA

I can't do any of that as when I turn my PC on, My monitor is just on standby mode, And the mouse and keyboard don't turn on/light up. funny thing is I can keep my PC turned on for 1 hour, fans running and everything, The monitor and mouse/keyboard just don't seem to want to come on.

I just changed it from positive to negative, I don't know exactly what that does but after I done that I saved the settings and now im having this issue, I have tried taking the CMOS battery out multiple times to reset the bios to default hoping my monitor and keyboard/mouse would come on but its not doing it.

Ive tried the RAM in 1 by 1, still nothing, And also with no GPU.

Anything else I can do or would my best option to be buy a new motherboard so the BIOS is default? Then if it still doesn't work ive broke my CPU?

If you're not seeing any POST (power on self-test) messages, I don't think I'd describe the PC as starting up "perfectly fine".

The "CPU mode offset" is a CPU voltage control, normally used in overclocking. I don't see how you could have damaged anything by setting it negative. I suppose that if there was a large negative value, the voltage might have been too low to permit POST. (Seems unlikely.)

Clearing the CMOS resets the settings to default.

Just out of curiosity: your motherboard has an indicator LED for the DRAM. Does it light up?

You could try WhyMe's suggestion of going to a minimal system to see whether it'd boot. Your CPU has integrated graphics, so you could use those instead of your nVidia card.

Yes when I turn the PC on with the RAM seated, There is a red light beside the RAM that flashes RED once, And then it dissapears.

Ill try to clear the CMOS and use the jumper now with nothing connected but the PSU, CPU and RAM

Okay I unplugged everything from it removed the CMOS battery and put the jumper from pin 1-2 to 2-3 again for around 5 minutes. I then reversed it and plugged the PSU in and VGA cable, The motherboard has a green light on it, I turned my PC on and the red light beside the RAM turns on for 2~ seconds then off again, But again my monitor is in standby mode, So I tried to put the HDMI cable into the motherboard and into my monitor and it says no signal.


If there isnt anything else I can do would buying a new motherboard solve this issue, Or could the CPU be broken from changing this setting?

I can order a new one from Amazon on Monday if it would fix the issue.

I did I plugged the VGA cable into the motherboard, then I tried plugging the HDMI cable into the motherboard, no results.

The GPU wasnt inside the PC or plugged in, The only thing on was the RAM, PSU, CPU and monitor connected up with both HDMI and VGA, still no signal.
