I am running Win 10
My MS LifeCam is guaranteed to work with MS Skype
It DOES NOT!
When I downloaded the software it starts to install stops & Gives this error;
"installation ran into a problem" PERIOD
Uninstalled the software, retried, same thing.
It list all the Win versions EXCEPT Win 10! Is that the reason?

having the same problem, called Microsoft they said no drivers are available yet
In case running the setup fails to install the drivers, you can always manually install the drivers from Device Manager. Search for device and click to open Device Manager. Then expand Imaging devices, right-click on the webcam and select Update drivers. Then do not allow Windows search for the driver, click the last option instead. Then click again the last option and you should see a Have disk button. Click on that button and browse to the folder where you extracted the driver files (if it is executable open it with WinRAR and extract the contents to a folder). Select the first model from the list and proceed to install it, even if Windows claim it cannot verify compatibility. Then the camera should work (restart may required).
