Audio Popping issue

I am experiencing an issue with audio popping after fresh installing to windows 10 from windows 7. I mostly notice this issue on internet videos such as html5 or flash and communication software like skype; so far I have not noticed any issue playing any games or anything and if so its very feint and unnoticable. I have tried every common problem that I could come across. I have updated my network card driver from realtek's website (Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller), Updated my video card from AMDs website, and updated my sound card from realtek's website (Realtek HD Audio). I downloaded LatencyMon to test any DPC latency spikes and it never really goes above 700. I have tried plugging in my headset to each different USB port on my computer both front and back. I also tested my headset on another computer to see if its the headset and it works fine. I have run out of ideas and would appreciate suggestions.

First, if you are using a USB headset, then you are not using the PC's sound card, the USB headset takes digital audio and converts it inside the headset.

The usual suspects are items such as Wi-Fi, external sources such as cordless phones, cell phones near the PC, drivers (which you have eliminated). There is not a "one fix" for this.

According to your description (you failed to include the exact Dell model) this is an older Dell (XPS ?) and there could still be a driver issue. I notice on the Dell site that some models that were Win 7 have a notice about not being certified for Win 10.

I'm using a Dell XPS 435. It came with a wireless network card, but I have had it disabled from the device manager for awhile, as I have always had issues with it from the time since it was new and never really used it anyway. Honestly, I don't think dell has updated any driver software on their site for this computer in at least 3 years, and this computers 4 years old with a few upgrades. I know I have the most up to date motherboard BIOS, but again, that was 3 years ago. So basically according to what dell is saying, is that this issue is probably on Dell's end, but they figure my computers too old for anyone to care about updating it to windows 10?

There are two Studio XPS435 models listed on the Dell site. 435MT and 435MT/9000. Both are basically the same vintage.

A remote chance, but upgrading the motherboard Intel chipset may help. The one on the Dell site is old, but get the chipset driver direct from Intel: Tablet, 2in1, Laptop, Desktop, Smartphone, Server, Embedded

Tried installing the chipset driver. Couldn't find my make and model, nor could the Intel Driver Utility that finds it for me. I'm wondering if my WiFi card could still be causing issues even though its disabled? I dunno, pulling at strings atm.

Here is my latency mon. Sounds much different than yours (unless you are using some other monitor. Do not use the DPC Latency Checker as its invalid for Win 8/10).

Well mine usually sits at around 200 or so and occasionally spike to 700 and max out there for a few seconds, maybe once every 5-10 minutes. The audio popping doesn't occur during the spikes so I don't believe its related and 700 doesn't seem that high of a spike. Still in the green pretty much.

Do you have regular PC speakers, that use the PC's sound, and if you do can you hear the popping in the speakers?

Unfortunately, I don't have a speaker to test this.
