    SSD cloned ..?

    Hi All
I just cloned the new SSD from 128GB to 256GB
And the main partition is not quite exactly the same
I don't have the star screw driver to replace it yet .. so I don't know if it works or not
    Any advice
    Thanks

Yes, it SHOULD be the same size, but it depends on HOW you do the cloning.

I just tried the same thing but I "dragged" each of the partitions on the source disk to the target disk, one by one, and it retained the original sizes of the partitions, leaving free space at the end of the drive.

I did the same thing ... I only have to reside the last partition : "only few MB off "
I replaced it ... seems to be ok ... boots up good

It does not matter, get your star screw driver and try it out.
