USB_MTP & PTP, MTP not working on some devices

Devices that are still working are the Samsung S9+ & S7 Edge along with the OnePlus 7 Pro & 10 Pro 5G. The computer is a Windows 10 Pro.
All units are connected through USB in both MTP & PTP.
The connection for all units came to an end. Currently, only the Samsung units connect with both. The OnePlus units only connect to the PC through USB with PTP. The MTP ability is lost and not recognized.
Does anyone know why this would happen?
How do I get the OnePlus units to connect with MTP? Without this, these unit have lost their usefulness.

Have you got USB debugging turned on in the affected phones?

USB debugging has always been turned on

The four devices listed above all worked before on both MTP & PTP.
Then one day, the OnePlus units would not be recognized under MTP.
I tried it on my desktop and laptop, both on Windows 10 Pro, and got the same results.
    Update
Just tried a friend's computer with one of the OnePlus units and the MTP worked.
It could be some software on my computers.
I will check on that and get back to this Thread with what I find.

    UPDATE JAN 1, 2024
As said before, my Laptop is fine. My desktop is not. I matched the software on both units and deleted over 150 apps which might have been the cause. That did not work either.
I do not want to start over on the Desktop, so does anyone have any idea how I can get back to using the Desktop for MTP?

It is possible your system files are corrupted.
In Powershell [admin ],type in ---dism /online /cleanup-image .restorehealth ---and when completed, then type in ---sfc /scannow ---and run it until a clean report is given.
    See if that helps.

Try a Repair Install.Read through the Tutorial given in that section on this site if you aren't familiar with it.
For dism and sfc not to work indicates a system in disrepair.Having deleted "over 150 apps" does not help either.
Your licence is valid,no doubt ?

I looked and all of them had a Repair Install Tutorial with upgrade.
Could you please identify which one of the tutorials I should use?
Would like to try this and thank you for the reply
