Dell U2913WM firmware is not compliant with software requirements

Suddenly Dell Display Manager displays this:-
Dell U2913WM firmware is not compliant with software requirements-screenshot-2023-06-13-095459.jpg
I have searched the Dell sites but found nothing helpful.
In fact their support sites send one round in circles or show "403 Forbidden"
There is no facility to email support.
I can find no firmware update for this monitor. Apparently Dell has never released one.
The monitor functions normally, so it's not a show stopper. Just puzzling.

    Code:
    PS C:\tools> .\err* 0xc0262584
    # for hex 0xc0262584 / decimal -1071241852
      ERROR_GRAPHICS_DDCCI_VCP_NOT_SUPPORTED winerror.h
    # The monitor does not support the specified VCP code.
    # as an HRESULT: Severity: FAILURE (1), FACILITY_GRAPHICS (0x26), Code 0x2584
Possible cause which I suspect is that Windows update might have installed it's own display driver.
You can try revert the driver in device manager IF that's the case, but first take a look into windows update history to see if new driver was installed.

Driver is the Dell driver which I installed.

Do you recall changing monitor settings or settings in Dell Display Manager?

If you have display driver installation package saved, try reinstalling it.

Other potential possibilities could be if new chipset driver was installed.
Sadly not much can be found online about this error so we can only speculate about the cause.

The latest driver available on the Dell site is the one I already have; this plus the absence of any new firmware suggests that the U2913WM is a neglected device.

Why are you convinced there even is a firmware update?

Every monitor has a default resolution. Did you change the resolution on Windows settings?
