How to check USB Hub Version and Speed

i have bought this usb hub which has 4 usb ports . It mention USB Version 3.0 and 5 GBps speed.

How can verify that its usb 3.0 and not usb version1 or 2.

I tried looking into Windows Device Manager and it list Generic USB Hub without mentioning which USB version it is.

The manufacturer Name is not mentioned at all and it only says Made in China.

    Hello -

Do all ports on the device have a blue receptacle?
The receptacles on USB 3.0 ports are usually blue to distinguish from the receptacles on USB 2.0 ports, which are black.

What are your USB transfer speeds? Should be in the Gbps range.

    You should also try this:

View any installed/connected USB device on your system

    Hope this helps.

USB 5G is 5 gigabits/s, or 625 megabytes/s. To check, connect the hub to a USB 5G port, and connect to the hub a UFD compatible with USB 5G. Then run a benchmark with CrystalDiskMark. You should get at least 150 MB/s in read operations.

There are an additional 5 pins in a USB 3 port. You can easily see by looking in the port. They are on the front area of the plastic bit, sometimes blue plastic but often not.
If there are just 4 then it is USB 2 or 1.
