    Invisible WD Passport USB Drive.

I have 4 External WD Passport USB drives connected to my PC, but 'This PC' shows only 3, however Disk Management shows as 4 as does Device Manager as per screen shots. I plugged the missing drive into my laptop which was then visible as a normal USB Drive, folders and files.
If I remove one of the Passport drives that is shown in This PC and plug in the missing Passport drive it is again not seen.

I can only assume there is something wrong with the drive setup, as drive 5 seems to have a different setup than the others. I do not know what settings may need changing, Active, Logical? It works fine in the laptop, can be identified in This PC under Disk Management and Device Manager, so I find this rather confusing.

Everything looks okay to me, with the exception that no drive letter has been assigned to disk 5. In disk management, right-click on the large block that says "931.4 GB Healthy (Primary Partition)". Then select "Change drive letter and paths". This will allow you to assign a drive letter to this drive.

From what I can see, it looks like that is all that is needed.

I'm not sure....but it may limited to three disks?.....or what?

*1: The PCIEX16_2 slot shares bandwidth with the PCIEX1_1 slot, PCIEX1_2 slot and USB3_34 connector. The PCIEX16_2 runs at x1 mode by default for system resource optimization.
*2: These SATA ports are for data hard drives only. ATAPI devices are not supported.

Was the "Missing" drive ever used with Linux or say MacOS? Does it show up if you boot with say a Linyx Live USB?

Just assign a drive letter to it with Disk manager or diskpart
