Make a driver file from a cab file

Make a driver file from a cab file
I am using either a desktop or lap top with Windows 10 Pro current version.
I am trying to extract a driver file from a cab file. Downloaded the cab file, open the cab file, selected all the items in the cab file, and extracted them to another file.
Must be doing the wrong, because the file I extracted FROM has the same files that were in the original cab file
How do I use this to end up with a driver file that I can use to update the item that needs it?

Using both a desktop & laptop with Windows10 Pro currently with version 20H2, OS build 19042.1645, and installed on 4/‎12/‎2021

Thanks for the thought, there was 1 bcbtums.inf file within the 116 files in the cab file. that bcbtums.inf file had 100 kb in it.
How to get those many files in the cab file into a driver file?
Didn't know what to do with the bcbtums.inf?
How do I use this file to update my Bluetooth file which needs the update?

Sorry, but need more direction in how to do that.
Is this one inf file the driver and the other 115 files of no value?
Please, get me a tutorial on how this is done, I haven't a clue.

An inf file is a information file to tell windows how to install. in some cases all you need is the inf file others may need other files you can read a inf file and get the infornation from it https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...-for-inf-files

First, the correct procedure is to extract the files into a folder, not into a file. Also, some cab mounted drivers have a "setup.exe" that is used to start the installer, but if you downloaded the driver from a third party source, that might be dangerous, so do that at your own risk. Another method is to start Device Manager, find the Bluetooth device, right-click it, select "Update driver", then click "Browse my computer for drivers" and in the "Search for drivers in this location" box, click "Browse", find the folder containing the files you extracted, highlight it, click "OK", then click "Next".

You don't 'make' anything from the inf or any other file. Windows does all this when you use the inf to install the driver. It refers to all the other extracted files from the cab as it needs to.
