From the above you can see that performance optimization is not supported on Windows 8 or higher in latest version of Samsung Magician so cannot use to trim seams I will have to go back to version 4.5 first installing 4.4 so that rapid mode works and then over installing 4.5 the version that everything works (seems to work).

Any help in solving problem would appreciated.

Please note lopedoggie suggestion of Auslogics Disk Defrag free version seems good as it actuly trims or says it does trim ssd's.

My main concern is solving problem with Windows 10 problem of not letting me trim ssd's then problem with Samasung Magician.

    Again all help appreciated.

    Thank you.

There are two different solutions. The simplest is to install 4.4, start rapid and then uninstall 4.4 and install 4.7. At this point rapid would stay on. The second method is a hack process that involves a little more complications but will allow you to modify processes within 4.7 to allow rapid. It has been posted on this forum couple of times in the last month. The former method might be using a version of rapid that might (I stress might) use an older algorithm that utilizes less memory.
While a fan of rapid and its placebo effect, I will wait for that till Samsung comes out with an official version. The memory management system in Windows 10 is considerably different and I am presuming that there is a good reason for its disconnection in the latest 4.7 version.

Magician is not ready for Win 10 at this time. How do I know? I used it on Win 8.1 and it did the job as advertised. On Win 10 it will not do much of anything.

    That's a fairly old driver.

Try running the Intel® Driver Update Utility to see if it finds more recent driver(s).

    Thanks,

I was afraid that the Intel utility would not find anything to update.

    I'll look at the Speccy.

BIOS is current - I still need to look at the Intel Chipset even though the Intel utility said nothing needed.

I strongly recommend that you uninstall
eBoostr: 29GB ExpressCard SSD ATA Device (SSD) and
    eBooster 2: 30GB THROTTLE (SSD)

You won't gain much from that sort of technology on Win10 with a SSD boot drive- it might even slow things down.

Most boost and system 'optimizers' aren't worth giving a 2nd look after Win Vista. They had some leg in XP and previous versions, but more modern Windows have far superior utilities. The old tweaks, boosts, optimizers are .... well, they're just old. After Win8, most of them really just clog the OS and some might be harmful causing BSODs.
