I need help with a USB relay board I have bought to work at all.

    Windows 11 O/S

I have purchased a USB relay Board. It needs no drivers but I can't work out how to use it?
    No instructions were supplied.
Apparently I need some software but I have tried several free usb board relay apps but none of them can even find the Board.
The board does register in Device manager as a Human interface device.

I actually want to write my own software but want to make sure the board works first.

Any advice would be appreciated, pointer towards software etc

The board I purchased is DollaTek DC 5V 2-Channel Relay Module Free Driver USB Control Switch PC Intelligent Control: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo

    Thanks

    Mike

The listing and comments from users say to use any of the many freely available relay control software packages available. Have you done so?

Yes indeed I have! I have scoured the internet for hours but have found only a few. None of these worked because they look for your device first and none of them can find it.
Some of them may be only for certain boards but I'm not sure.
I only wish that the people who advised this had given me the name of the software they used.
If they had I'd at least know if it's the board that is faulty or not.

    thanks

I have a device that I believe is the same as yours but sold under a different brand name.
I found and use software available here:

Hello. If I were you, I would look into Arduino. You can get something similar to the relay board to connect. You can write your own code which then runs off the Arduino itself. I have loads of them around doing things, some inside my PC.

Is the board plugged into USB 3 (blue) port? It probably needs to be plugged into USB 2 (black) port.

If you haven't contacted the Seller (DollaTek) for help, here's how:

On the Amazon web page for this product, look for "sold by DollaTek"
Click on the word DollaTek and a new window opens with a yellow box containing
    "Ask a question"
If you ask and describe your problem to DollaTek you may get the help you need.
