USB Drive on File Explorer and Windows Boot Manage option are fake
I had finished transferring a Windows installation from one SSD to another for the family's desktop PC. Every time I boot it up though, I get a Windows Boot Manager error screen saying Windows can't boot. I hit F9 to select "choose another OS" and two options are shown. Both are Windows 10 but one has a volume number under it while the other doesn't. I select the former and Windows boots like normal.
Another thing I noticed is that a USB drive appears on File Explorer even though I don't have a USB drive plugged in. Plus, it's not giving me any description of it's data size and usage. If I click format or anything to mess with it, it says it's not plugged in. I can uninstall it, but after I reboot with the explained process before, it always reappears. It's currently assigned as H:
I think these two issues are somehow related. I don't want to give it to my parents like this because they wouldn't know how to boot into Windows like this and it would be very annoying for everyone who turns it on. Windows version is 20H2, Build 19042.1165.

Okay, I solved the Windows Boot Manager option issue by selecting the appropriate volume as the default option. However, I'd still want to know how to get rid of the unknown USB drive. Upon further inspection, the fake device is listed as "Generic- Multi-Card USB Device." Tried to search for any fixes on how to get rid of it, but I haven't found any solutions. Here's a screenshot of the fake device's properties:
Also, something I forgot to mention, the PC is an HP Pavilion 500-281 Desktop PC. The only changes I made from the original specs are 8 GB of RAM, the 480 GB SSD I transferred the partition to, and a GTX 750 Ti. Everything else is original.

Another update: Apparently this fake USB drive only appears on my account and not my mother's on the same exact PC which is strange. Don't know how or why this is a thing. I guess it has something to do with my own account.
