A secondary internal drive is starting to dissappear (until restart)!

    @dalchina - the issue is back.
    The hard drive (the 5TB WD Black 7200RPM) is still randomly disappearing despite having been moved from slot Disk 1 to Disk 2. Usually disappears after PC as slept but NOT always. Usually reappears after a restart, though once it did NOT, and once I was able to make it reappear by sending it back to sleep and reawakening it.

    Next step: contact Western Digital for RMA?

    Well, looks like I'm outta luck. I wrongly assumed all hard drives were 5-year warranty.... this one looks like it was 4 years only!

    Not sure what I should do with it... maybe use it as a 3rd backup...until it dies completely or I need its SATA slot for something better.
