Problem installing Silicon Lab CP210x Driver on Win 10 Pro 20H2

I am having problems installing a Silicon Laboratories Inc Driver for a external communications device. It is version 6.7.3.350 dated 03/28/2016.

I am running Windows 10 Professional 20H2. It is a fresh OS install and I this will be a dedicated PC for 2 applications.

I receive the following error "The Device Cannot Start (Code 10)".

Wondering if anyone has any ideas on a fix ?

    Thanks

Just some PC data. This is what I am using for a Mini PC .. https://www.amazon.ca/Windows-Comput...TK/ref=sr_1_6?

    Hi, are comments here relevant?
Downloading CP210x drivers from Windows Update

Where I have had problems with a particular external device I've sometimes found driver updater tools helpful - these are not recommended for routine use- only in specific difficult cases. You may need to try more than one of these as they have different databases.

    E.g.
    Snappy driver installer
    Driver Genius
    Driver Easy
    etc etc

In the end, it was a configuration issue and it is all fixed now. I was using an external sound card device and their documentation was lacking. Once things were hooked up properly .. it all worked. It was not a Windows issue at all, even though the driver would not install.
