    Printer Problem

Don't know if this is the right place to post my issue, but here goes.
I have an HP officejet Pro 8715 and all of a sudden, after shutting down my PC ( Windows 10 ) sometime during the evening or whenever it prints pages of gibberish.

What's causing this and how do I correct it?
    Windows 10
    Version 1909

    Thanks

I have had a few HP Printers in my time.

What I find that works the best and quickest, is to first see if it is an actual Printer problem, or a problem created from the OS itself. I would uninstall the software and then reinstall it. This way, you have narrowed it down to be either the OS giving the Printer instructions, or the actual Printer itself.

    Just a thought.

    I hope this helps.

An issue with printing, that may be yours, is that if for some reason a print job doesn't complete it usually blocks further printing. Basically a print job goes to the Print Spooler then sent to the printer's memory then should print. I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 and an HP LaserJet M148 connected to my Router by Ethernet cable, any printer whether Wired or Wireless can use them. If a printer is on a Network with other computers the problem may lie in one of those machines.

Have you tried doing a test print from the printer? This would let you know if it's the computer or the printer. how to print a test page on a HP officejet Pro 8715 - Bing video
