hi so on 2 of my external drives in a hard drive dock yes they are old power on hours is long, but status shows 100% prefect but life show something else one says more than 100 days left other shows more than 206 days left, should i worry about this and start for a new backup storage drive anytime soon??

HD Sentinel uses a proprietary rating scale.
SMART is an attempt to predict drive failure.
In Ten Forums we see drives that fail with high percentages (90 - 100%).
Many end users don't follow benchmarks.
Drives can be used with reduced read / write performance.
We also see end users using drives until the terminal event.
So make backup images or backup files for unexpected or expected drive problems.

I have just written this for you. Download and Run this .bat file => Predicted_Failure.bat
It will tell you if there is a Predicted Failure.

@Paul Black Xfinity new built in router security seems to block you file not sure how to turn that crap off as they now do it on the hardware level ?.
i got it to d-load it was the dumb smart screen stuff, looks like I'm ok no predicted failures , thanks much.
My external hard drive has been showing estimated life of over 100 days for some time & is showing OK so I suspect it is nothing to worry about. I’ve double-checked it with chkdsk & it is fine.
