    Backing Up Drivers

Since original thread was very old, decided to start new one.

My solution to backing up drivers...use Powershell as follows:

    Export-WindowsDriver -Online -Destination X:\Directory

Replace X:\Directory with you location for driver backup. Run Powershell with administrative privileges. Also must have Powershell 5 installed (default for Windows 10).

This method eliminates need for a long cmd or batch file that uses DISM or remembering hoe to use DISM.

I honestly don't see the point of backing up drivers like that.

I always like to have the latest drivers for the hardware I've got so I download the installation files, install them and archive the installation files to another hard drive.

Put it this way, I always have the latest drivers available for use.
