    no audio windows 10

I I reciently upraded to window 10. I no longer hace sound in the game mode of the monitor. I have my verizon
FIOS TV plugged into the HDMI port of the monitor so I can watch TV and switch back and forth from PC mode and gamemode(TV). I rolled back windows 10 to my previous version Windows 7 pro. The sound returned after the rollback to
windows 7. Is there a fix for this problem?

Have you tried re installing the sound driver? There maybe an updated Windows 10 driver out for it.

On of the fixes was to uninstall the codex driver then update it. I tried that but still no sound. So I rolled back to
windows 7 and when there I got no sound at all from PC Mode or Game Mode(TV). So I rolled back the codex driver which restored the sound in windows 7.

If your sound goes through the HDMI port then it could also be the video driver as it install an audio device for the hdmi.

I have to look into that. So far I have installed Window 10 three times and rolled back to Windows 7 three times to try
different fixes. I can only watch TV on this Computer through the HDM! port. It dose not seem like it should be that
big of a problem to fix.
