So I've just gotten a new computer with Optane pre-installed.
Has anyone disabled the OptaneTrayIcon in StartUp without any problems?
I still would like to keep Optane running while removing that unneeded tray icon.
You can right click the icon and Disable it from running. But if you want to utilize it, you should leave it alone.
If all you want is to Hide or Remove the icon from the Notification Area just right-click the Taskbar click Taskbar Settings, scroll down the the Notification area section and you can make choices, it's where I turn Off or On the icons I don't what to show, shouldn't prevent them running.
