    That's a good one, thanks. But looking for the windows to be dark as well. The white really strains my eyes, and on IE! Is Windows 10 brighter? 8.1 never hurt my eyes or head at all.

    Maybe play around with high contrast black in ease of access

    or do the monitor calibration and lower the gamma / brightness

    Is there a way of having a darker theme for IE without losing some of the photos on websites when you select a Windows High Contrast Theme?

    Nope. Firefox is what you need if you want a complete dark theme that's also usable. For example the TT DeepDark theme(my all time favorite when I have FireFox installed)
