That's great Cliff, I like that scheme
BTW...I may need to call on your and others recommendations when redesigning WDT- to be more theme friendly/have a consistent approach (noted your post that various apps use different system colour settings for the same components)
Whether we go with the current thin title bar and give it accent colour or go the normal title bar route etc...

Trying to grasp the precise meaning of "themed but not patched" - is that anything like "Built in 1948, all original parts, still in working order"

It means I don't use memory patchers or file patchers, which can be a big draw back, but the system stays stabile then.

    Team Theme 5

Here is a nice darker gray AreoHybrid theme with red highlights.

    Credits:

    • @cato and @kado897 for their perfect wallpapers
    • Two more wallpapers from unknown(just let me know so I can edit the credits)
    • @Superfly -- SMACC, without this color chooser too, I would never have gotten these colors right, and with the help of the preview window, made the creation faster
    • Myself -- for throwing everything in a cement mixer and pouring it out.
    • @Hopachi -- for the cursor

    Note   Note
The complete theme requires four elements to be used/installed:
    • Themepack that includes system colors and a wallpaper
    • AccentColorInactive reg file to set inactive title bar color
    • A link to download the custom cursor
    • And two additional wallpapers for Start Screen and to use in the Mail & Calendar Uni apps

    Red & Gray AeroHybrid.zip
Link to the "Aero7- Red (Remastered)" cursor pack

Instructions to apply your new Windows Aero Hybrid Theme

1.) Download all parts(Themepack, Inactive Title Bar accent color registry file, any additional wallpapers, and go to any provided links for extras, such as cursors).

2.) Once files are downloaded, right click each file, open Properties, and unblock them(a small checkbox on the bottom right corner of the General tab)

3.) Zipped files need to be extracted by right clicking and choosing Extract(to any place you wish, I have created a Themes Library folder for this myself, but to Documents, or Desktop is ok too).
You can now delete the Zip files and/or themepack if you wish, once they are applied. Although... I recommend, if you like the theme, save the zipped files somewhere other than the system(C: drive(backup).

4.) Then you just click the Themepack & any additional registry files to apply them. Also place any additional wallpapers in your Pictures library, and add them to the theme or apply as Lock Screen.

    5.) Enjoy!

Note: To uninstall the theme: just go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Personalization change to another theme, then right click the one you don't wish to have any more, and delete it.

As a theme newbie without any knowledge of how to make them, I appreciate the way how you post them. Detailed easy to follow instructions which even someone like me can understand and get the full theme installed.

    Thank you

You're welcome Kari and thank you for the compliment. I am up for any advice though(to make the instructions clearer/easier to follow).

You're welcome Keith, and thanks for the compliment.
For some reason my other mentions are not "linking" though(cato, Craig and Horace). I tried multiple times, which must have nerved the other members with the page refreshing, but to no avail
