I'm a big fan of both the Valkyr's Lament theme and the High Contrast Gold theme, and I got to thinking, a bit of a merger would look awesome! With that thought in mind, I made this merger. Here ya go everyone. I hope you like it.

Theme no longer maintained. Deleted due to rework of available projects.

I can't get this theme to apply properly. Simply put, my computer isn't applying it as a 'High Contrast' theme. it applies it and all other High Contrast themes with the non-High Contrast settings and such. I would like High Contrast themes to apply properly but they won't. I know I'm using Comodo Security, but I'm not sure if that is blocking parts of the themes. Even the built in High Contrast themes won't load as actual High Contrast themes for some odd reason. Does anyone know what is going wrong wit my computer? I'm on Windows 10 TH2 (aka November Update).
Thank you for reviving this one!
    High Contrast Gold looks fantastic.
    Great work @Edwin!

Take your time, it seems themes evolve and get better and better over time.
(though we're reaching a limit for standard Aero theme color capabilities)
    Thanks.

What he said:) @Edwin what we're doing in Aero isn't so much different as you in high contrast(they are even pretty interchangeable, needing a few tweaks to look right, after changing over). You know, I usually export the color registry settings I use for my AeroHybrid theme, to desktop and test them in HC mode.

Now that I've become more experienced, I'm reworking some old themes, starting with the one I feel is my best: SteamAeroHybridI posted in November.

It was originally designed with Aerolite, now I've redone it in normal Aero, being able to use the Inactive Title Bar hack gives the title bar colors not without having that thin clear frame around Start Menu, System Clock, and Notification Center.

Also now that I have ColorChooser from @Superfly, I can adjust the colors more easily.

    So far, some slight changes:
