Windows 10 Start Menu How Do I Remove "Settings

Has anyone been able to remove "Settings" from the Windows 10 Start Menu?
Windows 10 Start Menu How Do I Remove "Settings-settings.jpg

I have deleted the "Settings.lnk" from C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs thinking that may work, it did not. Is there a GPO for this? We don't want our students attempting to access this. Someone suggested using the GPO to disable control panel, unfortunately that is not an option either.
    Thanks.

Right click Settings and click on "Unpin from Start".

It also would need to be something I can apply to "all users" either by GPO/GPO Registry Hack.

    Hello usgrcm, :)

If you like, you could use OPTION ONE in the tutorial below to disable access to the Control Panel and Settings for all users using a .reg file.

    this won't work either. Basically:
    Settings From Starmenu=Gone
    But Control Panel=Keep
They will still need to adjust screen resolutions. When the Control Panel is blocked, they cant adjust anything with the screen resolution.
