Bringing back legacy clock/wifi menu on W10 Anniversary

I know reg keys don't work, but is there any DLLs? Programs? Not a fan of W10 UI.

Not sure which dialogue you're referring to.. something in the control panel perhaps? (e.g. Windows key + X, click control panel).

Classic Wi-Fi menu is gone already in Windows 8.

No, not dialogue. I mean the menu you get when you click on the time in the taskbar. Same for wifi menu, but with the connection menu.

Was it? I'm sure there was a way to bring it back.

Clock: as it says in this article, this hack no longer works post 1607 build:
How to Restore the Old Clock, Calendar, and Battery on the Windows 10 Taskbar
Repeat- it no longer works (apparently).

    For the 'Classic' Network Menu:
Navigate in the Windows Registry to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Control Panel\Settings\Network
in the right pane of Network, change the value of ReplaceVan DWORD to 2
(you'll need to take full ownership of the Network key)

Yeah, I've seen that. What I'm hoping for is maybe a dll to change?

Thanks for helping, but I'm looking for the Windows 7 menu.

You would have to compile a whole new Manifest for that, it's part of the Immersive UI now.

Ah, that I probably could not do. I have no experience in programming such things (best I can do is a random number generator in Python :P)

Though, I might look into it...
