    Disable anniversary update lock screen

I have found two methods to do this, neither of which work

Disable Lock Screen in Windows 10 Anniversary Update version 1607

are the ones I've tried, but the lock screen is still there. I'm on 1607.

    Hello mkr10001, :)

You can still disable the lock screen, but just not at startup in the Home and Pro editions.

Currently, the only way to disable the lock screen at startup in the Home and Pro editions, is to set Windows to automatically sign in to your account at startup. Of course, this is not a very good option if you have other people using your computer.

Aah that's a bit of a pain. Only I use it but I'll leave it not auto logging in

Thanks for the info. Didn't spot that in either of those guides, might have just skipped over it.

    Try this:
Lock Screen - Enable or Disable in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

It schedules a process to eliminate the lock screen.

Just wow. Whoever came up with the solution, great job.
Wish it was implemented by default though.
