    I want to go back to win 7 style tooltips - words not pictures


    I can't find any way to do that. I HATE graphical crap on my desktop - and there is absolutely no reason in this world to pop up pics of what's open. The tooltips for unopen apps are words; I want the open apps that way too. Anyone have any ideas?

hi... does anyone know what controls the tooltips for files and videos? for mp4 it shows the size and the length and whether it's available offline for webm and flash it shows the size and the date and i'd like to make them all the same... ...

Looks like I spoke too soon - it's gone again. Seems to come and go randomly, sometimes works again after reboot and sometimes not.
