It has an environmental impact of it's own kind. Since this one was originally quite small but had a High Res photo quality I was able to bring up to the 1440x900 but wouldn't try it any higher due to the likelihood of degrading fast! It would either pixelate or simply go blurry. I was chancing it for this however.

And now for a look at how to reduce the width and then fit into the dual not triplet display frame. First we bring it down a bit to 3100 even by 581 from the 3840 way out there proportional sizing by 720 under standard VGA for CRT type 1024x768 to...

    Attachment 84113

Once reduced we bring in the Basic Black dual display sized backdrop of Basic Black 3120x1024.

    Attachment 84114

And next with that opened we add a few extra layers on top before introducing the reduction with only a slight touchup on one side from 3100 to match the 3120pixel width and we end up with.....

Thanks for providing this. I really appreciate the work.
Just note that the less resizes, the better.

Why do you go down to 3100 only to go back up to 3120? Those pixels will come to haunt you.

Resize directly to needed width and reposition it in center while extending to needed height (WITHOUT scaling).
    Takes just 2 steps.

-scale down to 3120x585 (keeps aspect ratio)
-place the scaled version in the center of your black 3120x1024

However that gives you a large space to fill, making it more difficult at the top.

A rather interesting fuller view while the aspect ratio from the original remains the same.
Almost. The moon and hills look taller.
If you reduce only the width then you break the aspect ratio.

    Here is the actual ratio:

What I meant with difficult at the top: you notice a slight darker overlay since it needed more tuning.

    Cheers!

Very nice Keith, I like her!
Also congrats with the scenic water castle. Those draw/paintings become a series on their own. Just think about releasing a theme on that.

First take a look at the reduced size of your work placed next to what? The smaller 3120x1024 backdrop. Why? If you try adding a larger insert on top of a smaller size backdrop what will you get? ______________ NADA nothing! The backdrop is then squashed and mashed upto a ball in one corner with a nice blank space.

Going from 3100 to 3120 only requires a 20pixel stretch in comparison to other projects where some 200 or more pixel stretches have been seen and where you then lose integrity. There's a method in the madness to prevent distortion by keeping the aspect ratio as tightly confined as possible. The last paper for example at 1440x900 brought way up from something like 620x440 to 1430x900 only required the uncheck of the keep aspect ratio by a 10pixel increase of the width to the standard res.

Well that was simply one type of scenic view seen there! Meanwhile I had this other one you might call a Walk in the Park or something.
