I would think so. A woman's purse blew up on the checkout counter in a store. Saw the story in passing, and don't know any details, but Samsun came to mind.
They really should just stick to SSD's.
Wait a minute, will both my PCs explode too now?

That's just those experimental li-polymer batteries that get smaller and smaller...
    It did happen; nobody's perfect.
Yes they have good SSD's but you forgot the monitors there.
For that minor exploding-accident it still would not change my mind: Samsung's got good stuff.
Most of those bad stories are strategically amplified by competing marketing.

And I'm in agreement that Samsung has good stuff. They just got unlucky with the battery choice in their latest phones.

OK, I was wondering if the lithium ion batteries were at fault and how it was that only Samsungs and hoverboards were the only victims. It seems that several news sources may have gotten it wrong and are saying lithium ion instead of li-polymer.

    Mine today, Big Crunch:
In physical cosmology, the Big Crunch is one possible scenario for the ultimate fate of the universe, in which the metric expansion of space eventually reverses and the universe re-collapses, ultimately ending as a black hole singularity or causing a reformation of the universe starting with another big bang.
