    Which DPI size is your monitor running on?


    In other words, how sharp / big the monitor seems to be set.
    Most of us run on default 100% DPI but in some cases, usually big resolutions above 1080p, 4K, Mac Retina, Surface 4, high-end monitors, can use a higher DPI value, otherwise we end up with difficult to read tiny text and icons.



    We don't need to change anything, just take a look.

    I go 110%, default text sizes but bold; perfect on 27" 1920x1080.

    Interesting.
    Although I don't see the votes, it counts as "custom (user defined)".

    HP Compaq L2105tm Touchscreen Monitor, 1440x900 resolution, 125% DPI, seems to be all I need. I have it on a KVM with Win7 Pro, Win10 Pro, Win10 Home and Linux Mint 17.2.

    A little off topic but interesting:
    At a very high dpi, the clock/calendar becomes dynamic, (scroll bar and all), while the Start Menu becomes squat and useless:
