    Anyone discover how to bring back "Ask me what to do" (power button)?

    I have a Lenovo Ideapad whose power button is wayyyy too accessible, so I would LOVE (as in: pay for an app, even!) to find a way to restore the old "Ask me what to do" when the power button is pressed.

    Ah, the 'Shutdown Confirmation' dialog; trying to remember how to re-enable that!

    I take it you're talking about the physical power button;
    if so, go to Power Options in the Control Panel and change "When I press the power button:" to "Do nothing"

    After some research, I found that if you enable "Display Shutdown Event Tracker" in GP Editor, you will get a Shutdown/Restart confirmation dialog;
    (it doesn't ask to fill any comments, though)
    however, it seems very buggy for it seems to break Search function!
