Microsoft seems to have changed how the start screen works, and now I have to reorganize everything

I bet there will be more changes to come to the start menu.. but it's getting better with each build, IMO.

    Adding more seperators/menus?

    Hey all,

So I recently just upgraded to TP 10130 and started goofing around in Windows 10 to get the general feel for everything. I had a question about the start menu.

So right now we have 2 columns. I renamed the first one to "Goofing around in Start" and the second one is "Play and Explore" the default Microsoft one.

I was wondering, are we able to add more rows/columns to separate icons and groups. ie. First one call games, second one apps, 3rd one system tools and so forth. Will this feature, option be available in this small sized start menu? Is it already available or am I missing something?

I wanted to add a few more rows and scroll down with my mouse wheel to keep things separated and not all bunched together. Just wondering if there is any news on this yet?

    Thank You.

@heyyahblah , all you need to do is just drag your icons to separate them. Click on the gap to edit and assign a name to the group of icons.

Thank you so much for the tip. I was trying to do something along those lines like dragging and dropping but it wasn't working, lol.

At first I wanted to drop the whole folder in the W section from ALL APPS, I thought I could just dump all the Windows Tools into a folder but that didnt work so I discovered I can randomly add the things I need to use frequently like notepad, paint, run, command prompt.

I just did not know how to separate them, as they were all sticking together for me, lol
Thanks for the tip. I guess I will play around tomorrow as it is so late right now ....

This is probably my favorite and perhaps only use for the Start 'Screen'.
Pinning music from within the Music App to the Start Screen which, when clicked, plays immediately in the Music App.
The only draw back is that the new Music App sounds rather poor.
(You may remember OblyTile being famous for doing this!)
