I used to have a .reg file for it but since have stopped using it since it still has to be ran on every reboot...I'm now just holding out until a permanent fix is found and just using blur as is...except a little lighter with the "EnableBlurBehind" reg entry set to "1". It lightens the blur just a tad.

Have you tried creating a Task:
Disable blur effect - not transparency-image-002.png

Disable blur effect - not transparency-image-003.png

Disable blur effect - not transparency-image-004.png

    Hmm....
I already had that value in my Registry. It's retained through a restart & is controlled by tht Transparency switch under settings -> Personalization -> Colors -> "Make Start, Taskbar and Action Center transparent.

But my is barely transparent & blurred --- but my graphics aren't that great.

Running Procmon, I did find that Windows also looks under the same key for a Value named EnableBlurBehind.

I tired creating it as a DWORD set to 0 but didn't seen to have any effect.

Plus, when I make the start menu transparent, the Action Centre popup becomes solid. A slightly better hack is needed.
