    I have managed to get your white(in my case blue) title bars.

    But I meant all the black titles on my screenshots above (Chrome + taskbar icons) changig to white.

    I have played with various settings below.

    Well, as it happens, if I expand my taskbar icons to show captions, they are white also (I've always had them hidden as Windows default now). So the colour matches the window titlebar text colour.

    No idea about Chrome browser.. I don't use it.

    I suppose if one used Aeroglass's tweaker, by using (e.g.) regshot, you could find out which registry keys are being changed... Just wondering what would happen if you used that without Aeroglass installed....

    From your screenshot, ActiveTitle and Inactivetitle and InactiveTitleText look relevant (why isn't there an ActiveTitleText?) but it begs the question as to where the toolbar text colour is defined.

    Yes, that's what I was talking about. I did this and it didn't work.

    Also, a person in that thread mentioned, "If I choose automatic color my title bar text color is always black. I have also noticed that when first choosing a single color that title bar text color will be set automatically to white or black depending upon the single color chosen."

    This is also happening to me.
    I have this problem as well. I want to keep black text in my title bars while having them colored blue. In Windows 10 1511 it always chooses white text color, regardless of any registry values.
    Is there any way to achieve a black text with blue colored title bars in 1511??

    Thanks for your help in advance!!

    Hi, as I said and showed in the screenshot with the colour mixer, the Aeroglass solution lets you do what you want.. Personally I found the white text much more legible against a colour. But then, it depends what colour titlebar you have..

    Here's the relevant registry key to do it by hand (the values are from an entirely different and very distinctive scheme discussed in another thread, so only examples).
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Colors]
    "ButtonDkShadow"="48 76 64"
    "ButtonText"="244 164 96"
    "InfoText"="244 164 96"
    "MenuText"="244 164 96"
    "WindowFrame"="65 65 65"
    "WindowText"="244 164 96"
    "ActiveBorder"="255 255 0"
    "ActiveTitle"="48 76 64"
    "AppWorkspace"="65 65 65"
    "Background"="65 65 65"
    "ButtonAlternateFace"="128 128 0"
    "ButtonFace"="65 65 65"
    "ButtonHilight"="128 128 0"
    "ButtonLight"="65 65 65"
    "ButtonShadow"="107 142 35"
    "GradientActiveTitle"="128 0 128"
    "GradientInactiveTitle"="0 128 0"
    "GrayText"="128 128 128"
    "Hilight"="48 76 64"
    "HilightText"="244 164 96"
    "HotTrackingColor"="209 196 152"
    "InactiveBorder"="0 128 0"
    "InactiveTitle"="48 76 64"
    "InactiveTitleText"="244 164 96"
    "InfoWindow"="65 65 65"
    "Menu"="65 65 65"
    "MenuBar"="65 65 65"
    "MenuHilight"="128 0 128"
    "Scrollbar"="65 65 65"
    "TitleText"="244 164 96"
    "Window"="65 65 65"
    "ScrollbarText"="244 164 96"

    Thanks for your answer!
    I installed Aeroglass, but the text color remains white. In the registry the value of TitleText is 0 0 0, but the text is not shown in black... Do you have any idea what I have to do to get it work??

    After changing registry values you need to sign out & back in(or reboot) for them to come into effect. Also they are only good for that one theme and user, so the theme needs to be saved after(in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Personalization).

    OK after rebooting the title text is indeed black, but the control elements (Minimize, Maximize, Close) on the right side remain white. Is there a away to change their color as well??
    And on a side-note: Is it possible to run Aeroglass without the cmd open and without the watermark?? Both are very annoying to be honest.

    Thanks!

    For control element changes one needs 3rd party patching tools which are either not working at all or very well on Win10 now. I don't use Aeroglass, as I prefer the flat look(even had it off in Win7), but maybe one of the others will chirp up.

    Hi, I recall a command window, minimised, on the taskbar related to Aeroglass on a Windows installation far far away.. but normally don't expect that. If you go to the Aeroglass site and pay, say, 4 or 5 euros, you'll get 2 or 3 licenses (reusable). That means Aeroglass is kept up to date and your watermark goes away.

    Don't forget to get the tweak tool and try it.. it's not all working on '10, but colour and opacity adjustments are.

    You can even make the title bars opaque- which I throw in to please Cliff S
