    Windows Classic - Start compatibilty

I guess I'm more into icons. Over the years my eyes have struggled increasingly with fonts and their sizes. For me tiles are distractions. I guess as a senior, I did well to adjust sufficiently to Windows 8.1, thanks to the Windows Classic skin for the same start as Window 7 start; words. without background colours.

Can Windows Classic be installed on Windows 10 and will the start tiles go away?

    Thanks
    Dennis

If it's the Classic Shell you ask about, I have seen one computer retain the Classic Shell setup after being Upgraded to Win10 from Win8.1 and there were no tiles on the Desktop.

Oh, and about the skin, there lots of choices when you choose to show more settings/details.
