    UXStyle version for Windows 10(TP)

I thought it would be a good idea to make an extra thread for new versions of UXStyle because a lot of you require a dark theme, and this way you can skin/theme your desktops.
UxStyle is a bit of software that relaxes Windows theme signature requirements to enable third-party customization. Specifically, UxStyle consists of a tiny system service and a kernel driver that are loaded into memory where they hang out until reboot. No file system changes are made.
(First introduced on March 19, 2009.)
UxStyle was recently rebranded to UxStyle Community Edition and published to GitHub under the GPL license.

For Windows 10 Technical Preview latest version (0.2.4.2): UxStyle

It is not a good idea who has Nvidia and Intel together. For laptops it causes BSOD. Not only W10 also in Windows 8. I struggled because of that too much. I really like to have dark theme but using these patchers f***ed my system. I used UXStyle, UniversalThemePatcher, UltraUxPatcher and UXTheme-MultiPatcher.. All of them are same. So guys always create System restore point and have recovery media before using these kind of things.

I can't agree more.. ALWAYS MAKE A SYSTEM IMAGE BEFORE THEMING.

I had bad experiences with my laptop & Windows 7, but the image saved me. One my Windows 8.1 desktop there are no problems.
The theme patchers can/ will kill some of the MMC (Microsoft Management Console) functions so you have to switch to a windows theme to use them, also when installing updates other than those for Defender, specially for Internet Explorer one has to switch back to a Windows theme before rebooting to avoid a "black screen".

I had posted a thread about Uxstyle and it is not advisable for me. I said for LAPTOPS. desktops are more stable but the Nvidia ***M-Mobile drivers(mine is 740M) causes bsod. Trust me i tried these patchers every week and formatted my laptop because of that BSOD. I tried every possible fix or pre-caution. Whatever MY OPINION is not using them until being fully stable.

I thought that was the idea of the preview,,, test it till bleeds(BSOD). I've been doing everything wrong with these preview builds to see just how stable and how far it is. For example I have also found out that some of the Windows 8 drivers for my ASUS X54C cause BSOD's at reboot and I have to use the Windows default drivers(which work great on my laptop by the way), so I thought "What the hell, let's try theming". Plus there are people in our forums with severe eyesight disabilities that need dark themes being the built in high contrast them kills the transparency and Bing home page in IE11, so when I test and post my results it also helps them.

Thanks for the link Cliff, working okay on 10056 with the exception of crashing my 47" screen, but there was something glitched before UXStyle anyway! :)

That's what's awesome about these Previews, you don't really care too much if they break.
Now if I was using a final paid OS, I'd be a lot more careful!

You're welcome Edwin. You should try the theme I'm using8works great with 8.1(with transparency turned on) and good with 10(when transparency is turned off)

I think theming is going to become 'big business' in W10, as you can only colorize the Menu and taskbar now!
