    Remove Clutter From Bootscreen

    I am running Win10 22H2 (OS Build 19045.4291.

I set up my machine to boot to a rotating file of images.

In an update a large display of the time and date were superimposed. More recently it is a whole set of information that MS has decided I should see. (See attached image.)

How do I turn this off?

    thanks

I'd say make sure Spotlight option is not selected and as per tutorial:

Change Lock Screen Background in Windows 10

    B) Turn on or off Get fun facts, tips, and more from Windows and Cortana on your lock screen (Windows mini-spotlight)

    Hello baumgrenze,

If you wanted to keep using Windows Spotlight as your lock screen background, then you can set Choose an app to show detailed status to something other than Weather and more below to stop seeing these widgets.

    Thank You

    Thank you gentlemen.

That got rid of the added clutter.

I gather that the huge date/time is a gift from Microsoft that they just can't believe I'd rather do without.

If I remember correctly from my last thanks to you, trying to add to your reputations just leads to a 'please spread your reps around.

Sorry, that doesn't seem a meaningful question - the one is a picture, the other not.
