    How can I remove all the Today theme from the Search Menu?


    Is there any way to remove the clutter from the Search Menu? It just looks cluttered with the Today View theme. It is just ridiculous and looks very unprofessional....

    Agreed- I prefer not to use it. Even just clicking in the search box on the taskbar (which I normally hide) produces a box I'm not interested in.

    I avoid all this by using Open Shell as my start menu, free. That has a configurable simple search box which can optionally search programs/files/internet...

    I managed to disable this using the registry method from the link below.
    How to Disable Bing in the Windows 10 Start Menu (howtogeek.com)

    Now, I get the Top Apps.

    How can I disable this as well? I want everything removed from this section from the Search.

    - topic has been discussed a number of times before. You may find a fix.

    Problem is MS keeps changing this.

    I'm sure it has been hashed over a number of times but how to get rid of that snot is still valuable info imo. MS's obsession with edge is a main reason I'm not moving to 11.
