    Unable to calibrate brightness

Every time I go to the display colour calibration, I come across a problem when I want to change the brightness. I pass the Gamma section, but when I come to the brightness and contrast part, I cannot adjust them. Under the picture it says that I should use controls on the display, but there are none. I tried using the mouse scroll and the up and down arrows, but nothing seems to work.Unable to calibrate brightness-screenshot-41-.png

There's your answer there, you have to use any brightness controls on then monitor itself. If you are using an LCD Monitor, you should have some kind of controls you can get to. Look over on the right side under the screen, usually there are three buttons under the screen.

If you don't have those, it's a good bet your Monitor has automatic brightness, a lot of new monitors have that, the brightness adjusts according to room lighting, time of day, etc.

If you want your display to be less harsh at night, I suggest using F.Lux
