    Classic Windows Theme


    Is there any way to get the Classic Theme for WinX? I right clicked the desktop and looked under personalize for themes but all I found was high contrast themes.

    You have to exit out of those, you are stuck in "High Contrast". I got stuck in there once under Windows 8, it's under the "Ease of Access" center in 7 and 8, check your Control Panel and you can exit High Contrast from there. When you have High Contrast turned on, it shuts off all other Theming or Personalization settings.

    Just to revive this thread, because I think the OP wanted the classic non-DWM shell back. You might want to look about halfway down this page from MSFN. This hack does allow the complete removal of skinning and Visual Styles from Windows 10. Best of course used alongside Classic Shell. Perhaps worth a look.
