After the patch mine now seems to time out to the lockscreen, but not activate the screensaver or sleep. That is not to say that the patch had anything specifically aimed at this problem, more of an observation and possible coincidence.

OK I created a new local account on my machine and the screensaver and monitor time outs DO WORK. Going to keep looking into his to see if I can't fine a solution for existing profiles.

Just tried this, made a new account logged into it and....nada, still no timeout.

I am having the same issue as well with a dual monitor setup and nvidia card, with the monitors only turning off in safe mode.

Hmm, today I've noticed if I lock the machine a'la Windows+L (as I'm having to do now to prevent toddler intervention) the screen will go into power down as set. But still won't timeout from desktop.

I will have to try that, might be a temp fix.

Same issue here: The screensaver and screen off power options don't ever activate, no matter what settings. Even if I lock the system myself (Win+L), it doesn't work.
    Scenario:
    • Windows 10 Pro (upgraded from Win 8.1 Pro)
    • NVidia GeForce with Windows 10 drivers (3x monitors, issue happens when using NVidia surround or multi-monitor)

You described my problem perfectly, although I think it may have something to do with my SoundBlaster X-fi. While I was trying to get the drivers working properly for the Sound Blaster the screens powered off on their own. Creative isn't creating new drivers for my card until October as I understand it.

Interesting I have a Creative X-Fi and Nvidia GTX680 and have the same problem.
