As Brink wrote, I did indeed use the built-in feedback utility. If you search for the word thickness you'll find my post (starting with "On my WQXGA...").

So far it seems Microsoft is listening partially. In the TP build 10547 you have the ability to change taskbar color now without the use of 3rd party apps, and the personlization menu (classic) style via control panel has been restored as well as it was in Windows 7 and Windows 8.1, but you have to access it via control panel and not settings. Hopefully that will stay in the update release.

Border thickness would be nice if they added it back :), it was actually quite aesthetically pleasing feature in Win 8.1 that 7 lacked.

Hello Silverz, and welcome to Ten Forums.

If you like, you could do OPTION ONE below to be able to change the color of window borders and title bars. The side effect of it is wider borders. :)

I think Windows 10 colors are outrageously difficult to deal with. I detest the "FLAT" look. Where is the Windows 3.1 Theme?

Seriously, thanks for the link to an improved theme.

hi Brink , that Option One works for the Windows 10 File Explorer, Edge and Chrome type windows. But does not work for Office 2016 apps, i.e. neither the main app window (ex Outlook ) or the sub windows (ex tables or queries within Access ) ?

Aeroglass with a 'theme atlas' file producing thicker borders - which you can tweak a wee bit.
You can have square or rounded windows.
Free with watermark bottom right of desktop and a prompt on logon, or e3 min. donation.

Hi, can you confirm you mean this Aeroglass?
    Aero Glass for Win8+
    I don't have Office 2016.

correct, that is the one - it changes Chrome, Edge, FileExplorer, WordPad, NotePad and other 'older' apps. But does not affect the MSOffice 2016 suite of apps

Ok here's why according to the developer of AeroGlass:
AeroGlass is just a rendering engine for DWM. Office apps override DWM and draw its own frame by itself. So it is not possible.
Same for - for example- some multimedia programs which draw their own frame.
