    Learnin to play the guitar

Just to say Hi to you folks as I haven’t been here for awhile. The computer used to be my number one interest but something else has taken its place. This past January I bought a guitar and I’m taking lessons on that. I’m 86 years old and learning to play the guitar. It’s really hard to play. But I’m not giving up. Are there any other members who play a guitar and did you find it hard to learn? ~~Frank

Wow as long as I've been around, I have never heard of one. Is it anything like the acoustic guitar that we have now?

I've been playing guitar for 17 years, first picked it up at 13. I found it fairly easy to pick up and learn, the worst part starting out is building up the fingertip calluses. I also know how to play drums, piano, and the bass. Kudos to you for being 86 and picking up somethin new . My mother is 74 and she can't even boot up a computer and doesn't care to learn haha.
