Personally I would never gamble on stocks, with a device you can hold in your hand, or an Operating System. The links & posted are going to be the best.

Tablets & phones always take a hit during the Summer. Towards Sept/Oct, they start going back up. You will see a large increase on hardware pretty soon. Because of students going back to College or a University to start their Fall classes.
Great info all. I'll take all the advice I can get. I'm new to investing but we all have to start sometime.
Thank you all for the advice. I hope to see more.

It has been my experience that there are to types of people or experts that advise others on stock purchases. One type are number watchers. I'm not real big on this type because they miss out on all the big or trend stocks. The other type are rare but they watch numbers and trends. They are the big dogs that rarely give out their info. I guess I'm trying to pry out peoples thought on this latest software war. I know most of America has I-Phones. We all know things change.

I was about to give up on Microsoft and go with MAC or Apple all the way. With this single platform of Windows 10 I am now going to go with Windows all the way. Again, I think people are done with learning multiples systems for their PC, tablet and Phone. I know I am. As for stocks. I'm asking for info on Apple vs. Microsoft not on stocks in general. I do appreciate all of the advice that was given.

Any more thoughts on buying stock in Apple or Microsoft would sure be welcome. :)

So... most of the people I have talked to say stay with Apple stock. On the other hand not one can give me a good reason to stay other than most people have an I-phone. I can give many reasons with Microsoft's new moves to go with them. I'm looking for reasons not to. I know there are some people out there that might be able to talk me into Apple. I would love to hear from them. I would love to hear reasons that Apple will prevail over Microsoft in the next 3 or so years.
