Afternoon kado. Not sure, I never did. I believe it was introduced with 8 maybe? But I saw the update to remove it on my 7 64 so maybe it was earlier. I'm guessing it was another blogging tool?

I notice these latest slew of updates have one that removes Win Journal immediately. The page states there are many security exploits & it will be removed from all versions of windows soon. They suggest One Note. Either they found one hell of a security flaw they couldn't fix or they just want to ditch journal & get people hooked on One Note.

They dropped that on Insider about 2 months ago. There was a KB you could DL to zap it. Yes, massive security issues. Plus the "hooked" part!
