Looks like they're borrowing off some animated film scenes in the past. In a few of those, Lex turns the public against Superman by getting people to question his God-like powers. Still, We'll watch it.

I'll eventually watch it.. it does look interesting..

There was an animated film (I forget the name) where someone broke into Batman's computer & apparently, Batman had a plan for neutralizing every member of the Justice League should they go bonkers, by exploiting their weaknesses. In Superman's case it was a Kryptonite tipped bullet.

Makes sense.. but in the TV show it was always funny watching bullets bounce off of him and then he ducks the gun that's tossed at him.
