This is how I used to make a living I ran 1500 bee hives before I retired I now only have 200 hives just a little sideline to keep me busy and money for my other hobby. I used to make 3 18 wheeler loads of honey a year 144 K pounds a year I am down to 20 K pounds a year now but the price has gone way up from $0.50 to $2.00 per pound whole sale. I also sell quite a bit retail at $4.00 per pound.

Nice, I guess time is a major investment as well. It must be worthwhile, or you are very bored

If you are not doing something you will get bored. Do some thing to make money or do something to spend money I am 71 and enjoy keeping bees always have you might say I have been retired for 30+ years. I used to repair TV's for a living to never did like dealing with the customer.
